Şahika Tekand’ın yazıp yönettiği On Adımda Unutmak, bireysel küçük dünyasına sıkışmış, hayata müdahale etme yeteneğini, büyük umutlarını ve uzun vadeli projelerini, kısa vadeli ve küçük kazanımlara feda etmiş, kendisine sunulan küçük konforlar aracılığıyla çevresine ve çevresindeki insanlara, sorunlara duyarsızlaşmış, maruz bırakıldığı bilgi bombardımanı içinde giderek farklı bir anlamda bilgisizleşmiş ve sonuçta cahilleşmiş çağdaş insanın traji-komik öyküsünü konu alır.
Dünyaya müdahale etme yeteneğini terk ederek, “umut”u çağdaş hayat sisteminin kendisine vaad ettiklerinden ibaret görmeye çalışan çağdaş insanın trajik durumu, ışık, ses, dekor gibi temel sahne elemanları ile oyuncu arasında gerçekleşen zorlu bir mücadele aracılığı ile ifade edilmekte ve bu mücadele oyunun ana eksenini oluşturmaktadır. Adeta bir var olma mücadelesine ya da bir ‘varolabilme yarışı’ na dönüşen oyun düzeninde seyircinin hem eğleneceği hem de her noktasında kendisini bularak düşüneceği bir seyir süreci yaratır.
Oyun, ateşi insanlığa armağan ederek kendini feda eden Prometheus gibi karşı çıkarak ‘mahkum’ olmak yerine, ‘gönüllüce teslim olarak mahkum olanlar’ın görmezden geldikleri trajik varoluşlarını, ironik bir metin ve performans diliyle sergiler.
Oyuncuların zorlu oyun koşullarına maruz bırakıldığı ve oyunun müzikalitesi yüksek dilinin ve hareket düzeninin , oyuncunun yönelişini belirleyen gerekli ve zorunlu koşulları oluşturduğu, sahne elemanlarının bizatihi varlıklarının zorlayıcı oyun kurallarına dönüştüğü oyunda, hem sahne hem de seyir yeri için “gerçek” bir paylaşım ve performans süreci yaratılır.

“How to forget in 10 steps” is the tragedy of contemporary man trapped in his small personal world, who has sacrificed his ability to interfere in life, his big hopes and his long-term projects to short-term and small achievements, who is rendered insensitive to the problems and the people around him as well as to his surroundings by the little comforts he is offered, and who, through the bombardment of information he is subjected to, is in another way rendered uninformed and eventually ignorant.
The tragedy of the contemporary man who, having abandoned his ability to interfere in the world, tries to believe that the only “hope” is the one promised to him by the system, is conveyed through the challenge between the player and the basic elements of the stage such as light, sound and scenery.
The play presents with an ironic text and performance grammar the tragedy of those who, ignoring their own tragedy, become voluntarily “imprisoned to the system” rather than becoming “prisoners within the system”, by opposing it like Prometheus who has risked to sacrifice himself by giving mankind the gift of fire.
A "real" shared process of performance both on the stage and for the audience is created in the play where the players are subjected to the challenging conditions of the game/play, and the presence of stage elements by nature transform into challenging game rules.

SOUND:
- 7 pcs. DPA 6044-F or SHURE Beta 53 head set microphone (skin color)

LIGHT:
- A total of approximately 20 KW. Spots for the general enlightenment of the front of house and inside the stage.
- 2 footed booms each with a height of 2,5m and on which approximately 4 profiles can be attached.

DESCRIPTION AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
GROUND SYSTEM (Y)
· The décor which will be brought by us consists of a ground system (Y) which is made up of modular wooden
boards with a light system installed on it. We will bring and set it up ourselves. It is referred to as Y in the sketches.
· The dimensions of the ground system (Y) will be 9,80m width x 5,60m depth x 5cm height.
LIGHT AND SOUND OPERATING DESK
· The system will be brought by us. We will set the system in a suitable position in the house, where the operators are
able to see the stage.
· Power (220V) should be brought onto the system.
2 tables- dimensions of each should be minimum 50cm. x 70cm. with approximate height of 35-40 cm.
1 table- the minimum dimensions of it should be 65cm.x70cm. with approximate height of 70 cm.
3 stools with no arms and adjustable height.
2 music stands with adjustable heights.
SIDE DROPS
The stage must be transformed into a black box.
· We will decide the position of the side drops once at the venue.
