İki oyuncu, ortak bir anlatıyı, bazen kelime kelime, bazen cümle cümle paylaşarak aktarıyorlar seyirciye. Onlara ‘ses çıkararak’ eşlik eden sıradışı bir ‘orkestra’ var. Zaman zaman kendi ‘mevki’lerinden çıkıp, oyuncuların alanına geçiyorlar. Tek bir hikâye anlatılmıyor. İç içe geçmiş birçok hikâye anlatılıyor. Ama aslında hepsi aynı hikâye.
Bir şehir. Ve iki kişi. Birbirleriyle sürekli karşılaşan, geçişen, çarpışan, ama birbirlerini gerçek anlamda hiçbir zaman görmeyen iki kişi. Dünyaya karşı iki kişi. Şehrin içinde hareket ediyorlar. Ezilmemeye çalışıyorlar. Şehirle başa çıkmaya çalışıyorlar. Herkes onlara karşı, onlar tek başına. Kâh seksen yaşındalar, kâh on sekiz. Bir bakmışsın mağdur durumdalar, bir de bakmışsın suçluluk duygusu içlerini kemiriyor.
Biz tanıyoruz onları. Onlar da bizi tanıyor. Şehir değişiyor. Şehir sürekli farklı rotalar çiziyor. Şehir onları itip kakıyor. Diğer insanlar, şehirle bir olmuş, sürüklüyorlar onları. Her an başka bir tehdit altındalar. Sesler sarmalıyor hepsini. Kâh rahatsız edici bir kakafoni, kâh büyüleyici bir sükunet. Kâh bir gürültü yumağı, kâh bir müzik.
Ama aslında şehir de onlar, diğer insanlar da. Yani aslında ne kendilerinden başka bir şehir var, ne de kendilerinden başka diğer insanlar. Var olan sadece onlar. Yüzlerce, binlerce kendileri. Endişe dolu bir sevgi hikâyesi bu.

The Other Day
Two actors share a common narrative with the audience, sometimes word by word, sometimes sentence by sentence. Accompanying them is an extraordinary 'orchestra' that contributes 'sonically.' At times, this unconventional orchestra steps out of their 'positions' and enters the actors' space.
It's not a single story being told. Multiple intertwined stories are narrated. Yet, they are all essentially the same story.
A city. And two people. Constantly encountering, crossing paths, colliding with each other, yet never truly seeing each other in a real sense. Two individuals against the world. Moving within the city, striving not to be crushed, attempting to cope with the city. Everyone is against them, and they are alone. Sometimes they are eighty years old, sometimes eighteen. One moment they are victims, the next guilt is gnawing at them.
We know them. They know us. The city is changing. The city constantly traces different routes. The city pushes them around. Other people, united with the city, drag them along. They are constantly under different threats. Sounds envelop them. Sometimes a disturbing cacophony, sometimes an enchanting tranquility. Sometimes a noise cluster, sometimes music.
But, in reality, they are the city, and other people are too. So, there is neither another city apart from themselves nor other people apart from themselves. Only they exist. Hundreds, thousands of themselves. This is an anxiety-filled love story.
Is it a concert?
A dance show?
A play?
A performance?
None of the above.
All of the above.
